Literature Text

A promise, a promise
It's hollow as can get
The darkness inside
An evil unmet

I am six, I am six
Clawed into my mind
Tearing me to pieces
Nothing left to find

Twist me, twist me
Bend my will and bones
Stop my mortal breathing
Sit upon your thrones

Snapping, snapping
Hear the fatal pop
Crumple onto marble
Mind whirling to a stop

Use me, use me
That's all you've ever done
Then rule another kingdom,
For nothing more than fun.
This is definitely not one of my best, not even close. But the first line wouldn't go away so I did something to stop it. Enjoy if you can.
